Bill Carson
Director of Finance
Bill has 30 years of experience both as a financial executive and successful venture capitalist. He has worked across a number of technology sectors, and held positions at both major global corporations and with multiple technology startups. His past experiences covers merger and acquisitions, divestitures, capital markets financings, restructuring, and strategic partnerships. At Princeton Infrared, Bill is responsible for the company’s financial reporting, managing the company’s banking and other third-party financial relationships, and the company’s HR function.
Prior to joining PIRT, Bill held CFO positions at Crystal Computing Corporation (sold to LTN Global) and Hurdl Corporation and was VP Finance at OP?Q Networks (sold to Fortinet). He is a Partner at Hudson Ventures, a NYC early stage investor in B2B companies that produced results among top 1% of US venture funds. Earlier in his career, Bill was head of merger and acquisitions at Citigroup. He also founded Citigroup’s Technology and Strategic Investment groups. Bill remains an advisor and board member to several private technology companies and an Investment Committee member for Vitalize Venture Capital fund.
Bill received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
